Hiking for a Cause | Friday, November 29, 2024 | 8:30AM
Gabrielino Trail to Gould Mesa Campground (meet in the Riparian Zone Parking Lot)
Welcome to the 9th annual “Will Hike for Food” hike and food drive! This event, founded by NobodyHikesInLA.com, and organized by WalkingPasadena.com, will help people enjoy nature, get exercise, meet other hikers, and give back to those less fortunate. Hikers are requested to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Friends In Deed’s food pantry in Pasadena (friendsindeedpas.org).
Will Hike for Food events are scheduled on Black Friday to tie in with the #OptOutside movement, which recognizes the value of time spent outside and the impact it has on our well-being. We will meet in the “Riparian Zone” parking lot by Hahamongna Park at 8:30AM – look for the little red car with the “WILL HIKE FOR FOOD” sign! 🚗 Expected route will be about 4 miles – the trail is mostly flat with a few gentle inclines and a couple of easy stream crossings.
NOTE: This hike is a casual opportunity to meet like-minded people and support the community. Walking Pasadena is not responsible for your conduct or anything that may happen during your hike. Be careful, and be respectful of others and of your surroundings.

I haven’t been on Facebook for years and do not intend to return to the site. However I’d like to join a hike for a good cause. Could I just communicate through email? Thank you!
