Exciting news! The Pasadena City Council is scheduled to declare October 2015 as Pedestrian Safety Month! The Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition is scheduled to receive the proclamation at the City Council meeting on Monday, September 28th at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

In honor of this “Walktober” we will be repeating a great walk we did last year, walking Colorado Boulevard from Sierra Madre Bl west to cross the Colorado Street Bridge, and back again (optional). There is lots to see on Colorado Blvd, let’s explore a significant portion of it together!

We will meet at the corner of Sierra Madre & Colorado (in front of Vons) at 9AM. We’ll walk Colorado to the bridge and across. There’s an option to finish here or in Old Town and take the bus back to Vons, OR you can walk back to our starting point on the other side of the street. One way: 3.79 miles, approx 2 hours depending on your speed and how many times you stop to take photos! 🙂
